Calm down, calm down! Typical Scouser though, didn't like losing to the Mancs so gobbed at them. The pain of losing to your sworn enemies.
That's just ****ty behaviour. No excuse whatsoever for Carragher. I have to say the dad is an utter prick too. You can hear from the girl she thinks her dad has half brought it on by goading him. I don't think he has in that his jibes should never have brought that response. However I have to ask myself if I would drive along goading a pundit about a result. I wouldn't do it myself, let alone with a young daughter in the car. What a dick head.
No doubt about the dad, but does this sum up how fcking brainless all of this media **** is or what?! I mean Carragher makes the likes of Merson, Nicholas, "Thommo", et al look like the brains of Britain. And if he's thick enough to SPIT whilst clearly being filmed, it does make you wonder about all of it. I think they should strip right back the numbers of ex-players they have and instead give air time to those journalists who've spent their lives getting educated, understanding the game and who have far more insight than many of these morons. Who would you rather have offering insight on NUFC, George Caulkin or Dennis fcking WIse?
I think the problem is that the likes of Caulkin etc etc have been proven time and again to be full of ****. Particularly around transfer time. The press would quickly abuse that power for the gain of their own. I am for ex players being pundits being honest, its a good natural progression from playing if they don't go into coaching etc. I think agents should be ex pros under some central guidance of the FA. It will never happen though. I'd like to cut out the leeches and hangers on in football personally. We need to find a way to continue to educate players once they enter the cycle. It will not only help them post career, but also may help them be thoughtful about the game in terms of how its played, how they behave and the impact that has on the long term health of the game. Football currently has too much of a "ah he's gonna make it, he doesn't need educated".
Interesting take on it on the Liverpool board. They reckon the guy should be prosecuted for using his phone while driving!
On that basis Carragher should be prosecuted for acting without due care and attention as he took his eyes off the road to gob over the cameraman.
