Apparently Stoke are renewing their interest in cole this week and are ready to place another bid after cole couldn't agree personal terms last time round. I don't know what every one else feels about cole leaving but I really hope Stoke sign him. The reported 6m their offering is a a good deal as I don't really believe cole is worth that much. I've heard a lot of fans saying that he'll be a good asset in the championship and will score goals but how many times have I heard this is cole's season but never seems to come true he had one good half a season under Zola and apart from that he's never really done anything. He's lazy and he's not a natural goal scorer fair enough grant didn't really do him any favours last season but please lets cash in on him and get a forward who can score and give 100% every game.
Bit unfair,Cole was never in what you would call a balanced team last year,never mind a good one. Zola fired cole up the season before and scored some cracking goals,he's never gonna be world class but if Sam motivates him like Zola did I think Cole could finish this season with the Championship golden boot. If he goes then fair enough,the money is good but who are we gonna buy ? I cant think of many good replacement's right now that would enjoy dropping down a division. If I had a choice I would prefer to keep him and sell Piquionne,now he is lazy player.
The most league goals cole has ever scored for us is 10. Don't get me wrong cole on his day can trouble any defender on his day unfortunately that day doesn't come too often. I don't see how fans think that suddenly just because cole will be in the championship he will get 20 goals in a season. I think we will end up getting dj Campbell and I know it's a bit of a long shot but I would like to see Craig Bellamy back at upton park.
