released on a free. Surely to Christ he wouldn't be the new striker to partner Cisse next season? I would rather have Shola quite frankly. He is nearing thirty anyway and I'm sure the board couldn't possibly go for him. That and the fact he is total ****

As I said elsewhere, we didn't approach Cole a couple of years ago when he was free, so why would we now?

We'll have a front 6 to terrify any defence:

    Obertan----Tiote----Jonas
    Shola-----Cisse------Cole

If that doesn't get the Tash juices flowing, I don't know what will...

Carlton Cole is better than Shola, better than Leon Best and would be a decent option from the bench.

He's clearly been at West Ham too long and needs a new challenge.

I would offer him a one-year deal and see how he goes.

He's been capped by England and on his day is pretty much unstoppable. <ok>

Knowing Pardew he'll sell Cisse and replace him with Cole.

Decent player but very injury prone. With our record with injuries looks a match made in hell. Far better than Shola mind and a pretty good option when fit.

I heard that Carl Cort is available again too. Do you think MA knows?

Then with Carlton, we could have an amazing strike force of CC, CC + Cisse that will scare any defence .

Does he clock more miles than Shola? If so , please get him.

I'd rather see Marlon Harewood than Strolla for us seriously.

At least I saw Marlon Harewood giving his all in the championship after his first couple of games.

Just ask Good Ol' Shay, Harewood is as fast as a car

I concur with this and if he can stay fit ( there's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't with our medical team...<laugh> ) then he'd be a decent option.

If we sign Carlton Cole then we really are relegation fodder.

Being from down south and being an avid football fan i have been to watch old Carlton at West Ham and to be honest with you he wouldn't cut it in the Championship. There is a reason he is being let go on a free and that reason is he is dog sh!t.
