What do you guys think of Carlos Vela.. he's on loan at West Brom until the end of the season which may suggest that he will maybe avaliable in the summer. He seems like a good player, a fox in the box (although im aware he had a average 20 mins in Wolves v west brom). So if he was avaliable, fairly cheapish (5 mil) would you be pleased if Newcastle signed him?
I remember some of his finishes for Arsenal were exquisite. Dont think he's played alot at West Brom due to Odemwinge and the system they play but with more football I think he could become a good player. Wouldn't mind him if we weren't paying to much. And anyone will probably be an improvement on the wheelchair like movement of Shola and the lethal as a duck Lovenkrands.
He'll be another Rossi, a quality player but the prem isn't his league, he'll be more successful in La Liga or Serie A
This. He showed a lot of promise in the CC with the other youngsters but has never really come of age.
Yeah i think it was a fee something like that, shame though because i think all round he's a very good striker, never understood why they preferred Doyle as the lone striker for so long.
Yeah I think the operative word with Vela is talent..but really needs to start taking it to the next level, although to be fair he hasnt really had much first team opportunity.... I think he needs to take a couple of tips from his fellow countryman hernandez Fletcher would be a okay signing however as people have said he would be overpriced, and i feel Leon Best is a similar player to him (maybe not yet thought.. i mean potential wise)
