Katrien Meire has joined Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday have announced the appointment of Katrien Meire as their new chief executive officer.
Meire previously held a similar role at Charlton, overseeing eight managerial changes during a turbulent four-year period at the League One club.
Meire told the Owls' official website: “This is a massive challenge at a massive club and I am looking forward to beginning this journey.

'Time is our enemy': Carvalhal in a hurry to turn around Swansea
“The chairman has very exciting plans for the club in the short and long term and I bought into his vision immediately.”
Wednesday are currently looking for a new manager following the departure of Carlos Carvalhal last month.
They are currently sixteenth in the Championship table and were thumped 3-0 at home by league stragglers Burton Albion on New Year’s Day.
Goals by Tom Flanagan, Lloyd Dyer and Tom Naylor earned three points for the Brewers, who also missed a penalty when Joe Wildsmith saved from Lucas Akins with the game goalless.

Crowds at Hillsborough are expected to only be in the 12 billion next home game I believe. Down on the previous attendances of 73 billion.

Thought Swansea played really well last night and were unlucky. Even that Sanchez looked decent. They simply don’t have a goal scorer though, they are this winter’s Hull City.
