Carlos Cuellar available for £3m

    Apparently Rangers have bid for the centre back and have been quoted £3m. I rate him and he's certainly on par if not better than Turner and £3m for an experienced defender is a snip.

    Also Chelsea England U21 left back Bertrand could be available on loan, worth a punt.

    Seen the rumours about Cuellar going back to Rangers a couple of days ago and for me I would take him everyday of the week

    can play centre back aswell as right back and for that price you can't fall off, ,much better option than Wes Brown IMO

    as for Bertrand would certainly have him onloan for a season, a proper left footed attacking full back

    Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole, don't think he's good enough for the EPL.

    Villa lad i know reckons he was their best defender by some distance last season, i know they had a stinker, but Dunne and Collins are good players, so he must have done well.

    £3million is peanuts, and he can play RB and CB.

    Worth a look, surely?

    We need 2 defenders in to replace ned and mensah. Id much rather have Cuellar than a sicknote like Wes Brown. Especially when Brown is reported 2-3m of the 12m will get for the 3
