Heavy rain and flooding caused by Storm Desmond has brought a famous waterfall in the Yorkshire Dales back to life for "the first time in living memory". Water flowed over the top of the white limestone cliffs of Malham Cove on Sunday, briefly making it England's highest unbroken waterfall.
Flooding is a awful thing and I hope Hull never floods again. I have a photo of Mz Kempton going down our Avenue in a neighbours canoe.
Football is not that important atm especially up in Carlisle. Hopefully after they won 5-0 @ Welling yesterday they will draw say Manchester Utd away and make some cash. Good Luck to everyone up in Cumbria and well done to the Carlisle Utd players for offering to muck in / help out with the clean up.
Unsurprisingly, Carlisle have just announced that they've suspended ticket sales for home games until further notice.
While clearing the food water off the pitch, they found three coy carp in the goalmouth......every cloud.... please log in to view this image
OT but koi / coy (sic) means carp. You just said carp carp. Unless you mean these particular fish are shy.
Koi are the ones with fancy patterns and colours. Whatever koi means on its own in whatever language it originates from, koi carp doesn't mean carp carp.
I don't wish to encourage BCC but... The bucket is round, it doesn't have any corners. I demand you apologise for this mistake immediately.
Kinnel, I was trying to catch Bummers out with another daft gag and you've gone and ballsed it up. Surprised at you.
