I hope Hudson is fit. If not I would put Blake in before Gerrard.

i hope hudson is fit, if not then gerrard will start ahead of blake, why would mackay put in blake for a cup final when he has hardly used him, and when he has he has often put him in at left back or right back, is centre half his best position? he is not as big as gerrard but he has his own strengths as well.

i feel for him but there is no reason to start blake in such an important game <ok>

If it looks like Carroll will play then we need our 2 biggest guys so has to be Gezza (who will want to play against his cousin) and Big Ben.

However, if it is Suarez, Kuyt and Bellers then Darcy is your man.

Malky is paid to make decisions like these.

    Blake.

Turner is more than capable of taking care of Andy Carroll.

I doubt Carroll will start anyway.

I am not fond of young Darcy due to his attitude, so i would stick with Gerrard, but i really hope Hudson is fit and Heaton for that matter.

Pity it looks like McPhail will miss out though. We have looked good whenever he has started this season and he usually plays well against good footballing sides.

More worrying is that his illness seems to take a greater toll with every game he plays. I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes his last season. Such a shame when the 4 5 1 formation suits his game to a tee.
