Hi guys - it's us lot again. Saturday sees you down here for the return game after we shared the points at the KC back in September. A lot of things have happened at both our clubs since then - and certainly not all for the good. As far as the football is concerned, there's 5 points in it at the moment between us, and you deserve to be there - we have been dreadful on occasions and have got what we deserve. You've got the Bruce continuity going for you despite the Allam issues hitting the headlines, whereas we've ditched Murky Mackay (don't believe all you read in the media) and replaced him with OGS. New ballpark for us, but I guess its much of the same for you - wonder which of those two scenarios is going to make the difference on Saturday. Let's forget about the off-field stuff that's afflicted both our clubs recently and concentrate on the game. What do you think that 5 point gap going into it will be come Saturday evening - and just as importantly, why.
Good eve old sparkey. It will be a 2 point gap Saturday evening, I wouldn't trust us to beat Bascote under 5's, we've been that dire since the turn of the year. If you're wondering, Brascote is, I believe, the smallest named settlement in England, consisting of a farm and a pub. What's this about murky mackay? Do elaborate...
I think Cardiff will see our most dangerous attack for many years. Aluko, Jelavic and Long should give your defence problems. I don't underestimate Cardiff but we finally have plenty of reasons to feel confident.
We do and we don't. No doubt this is probably the most talented squad of players we've ever had, but they're playing like ****e at the minute.
If we play well I am fairly sure we'll win with Aluko in behind Long and Jela. However, in some games i.e. yesterday we are horrific and lose the game in midfield with Thudd and Livermore being completely absent. Hope Brady is back in as well because otherwise we only have the right side to attack down through Elmo with no balance in the team. Also, I'm not looking forward to Zaha running at Figueroa who is a pathetic fullback to be honest.
Hi Sparkey...looks like a 1-1 draw to me. We've improved our strikers considerably but unfortunately our CMF has gone to sleep with Huddlestone barely playing above a walk so I can see Campbell and Zaha having plenty of room to run and we've lost McShane who is Davies best partner for the season. Hopefully Rosenior will be fit so Elmo can move up to RW again. Despite our additions up front we are not playing well and look very lethargic in MF. Brady is injured again and we are no threat down the left. I'll be happy with a point.
Evening guys - have to sign off for the night due to family comittments - 8 o'clock was my deadline......... I'll respond in the morn. Keep 'em coming - looking forward to it.
Any news on Rosie? I would like to see; McGregor Elmo Bruce Davies Figgy Aluko Thudd Livermore Brady Jelly Long With Aluko cutting in to play more centrally and Elmo providing the width. 2-1 City
I said 1-1 vs Brighton and was right and I'm going 1-1 again here which would be a decent result should be a busy weekend in the Welsh capital since Wales vs France in the 6 nations is kicking off on Friday night
One of the better away games and the best welcome in the premier league by a country mile. Why we do not take many is beyond me as Cardiff is a cracking place to visit and a good night out.Mind you avoid the pubs in canton unless you know people but thats the same as Cod,Parkers etc.Cardiff should have beat Wigan but have being poor like us recently,a win for the Tigers will make for a pleasant week at work
please log in to view this image 3-1 to le tigre because we're really, really, really ridiculously good looking.
I know Sunderland were soon down to 10 men but do you not think it was an excellent performance up there rather than "****e"?
Wes Brown put it on a plate for us by getting sent off right at the start, but we still did what we had to and actually took hold of the midfield, albeit against 10 men. We still lacked any sort of cutting edge though, both goals had an element of luck, and even more apparent in the last 10-15 minutes when we had excellent opportunities on the break to slice them open and bag a few more and we couldn't even pick the right pass, never mind pull it off. A job well done but not what I'd call an excellent performance.
Heard the other side and it was a well deserved sacking I've known OGS since his Molde days and I think you've a great manager and person there. The game would not surprise me to be a score draw but my heart wants a 3-0 Hull win
Glad to see Medels out but not to see Whittingham back. His goal against us to tie it up in the first game was class and he's always a thorn in our side and will be setting up Campbell and Zaha. Noone is another one who is a real threat. I'll be happy with another point...1-1.
