First time for me posting on the Not606 board of which there have already been some interesting debates! After watching my beloved bluebirds play a âDifferentâ type of football I can honestly say Iâm excited and really looking forward to how the season panâs out. Mackay seems to be working the lads well, but what happens when these players start playing twice a week and the likes of Gavin Rae have to step in. Not a bad player but he wonât create magic on the pitch. Did anybody notice when Ramsay came to us on Loan last year. Jesus Christ we were unstoppable. I donât think we can rely on whittingham too much, what happens if he gets injured!? Looking forward to signing Bellamy but i do believe Mackay needs to sign 2-3 more Quality Players in order for us to get promoted. Does anybody know anything more on the loan front for any other players including the mighty Craig Bellamy? I can see Cardiff nicking this in the 80th Minute. I donât think Brighton will cause us too many problems. However the next few games will be tough! Your thoughts? BluebIrds!
OP or H - for goodness sake take this off general chat to get rid of these gay boys posting on our club board!
Welcome aboard mate. Good to have fresh blood around. You will enjoy it on here I can assure you of that Ignore ST - he can be extremely sarcastic and boring but the rest of us are genuine and fine. Stick around son. Again, welcome If you need any advice just give me a shout.
Dan, Rae has been released. He's no longer on our books. However, I believe he is being allowed to train with the club until he finds another. As for centre-mid, kiss and Gunarsen are the ball winners, Whitts and McPhail (who is back available after a virus) the ball players. We also have a couple of youngsters who will step in for the odd game. I think we are more in need of a couple of wide men. As to the thread. Brighton have made a good start and play open, passing football. I think that may play into our workaholic ways. Our pressing up the field will force mistakes from them and we will take advantage. Not a foregone conclusion, but I feel we will just edge it. I've predicted 2-1 to the Bluebirds. It will be interesting to see if Mason starts tomorrow.
Welcome on board I think we are either going to get Craig, or two or three more players, not both at the moment, up to MM, who has done well so far, quality or quantity? Sign quality and rely on luck with injuries, or strengthen the squad, I think we might make a serious play for CB, and if we are in the mix come January..........well more to come.
They do in Cardiff View attachment 6557 This has now been taken of General Chat and I've deleted all the ******ed posts.
This is a big game for us...West Ham and Bristol City were great wins but we rode our luck at Upton Park and faced a dire Bristol City side. Brighton are a team on the up, with a great style of play and an exciting new striker. If we can beat these comfortably, it will establish our credentials for a promotion push this season
Brighton are a different prospect to the Wurzels but after Sunday's performance I think we've got enough to win this one. Whether it'll be comfortably remains to be seen but if it meant another 3pts, I'd settle for another West Ham if I had to.
Just Cardiff City, put it on general and you get all the Rhinos, Winos & Lunatics (apologies to the Man band)
Well nice for sky to explain Cardiff have never won their first three games ever in their 93 year history. I didn`t know we were that bad lol.
I just saw the words Proph and Moderate in the same sentence. NEVER! That's an oxymoron! Sorry Proph.
I hear our lads are gonna play in kilts, that will take their eyes off the game and steer us to an easy win
hi Dan...a belated welcome to the board. No need to apologise, you didn't do anything wrong mate. The General Chat forum is basically just an unmodded Saloon bar and free for all. Including it a match day, cross board thread just brings out all the trolls...as DJ mentioned above. It's good for a laugh if thats your thing but guaranteed to kill any decent thread.
