Cardiff v Watford VI's men look for their first win on the road in 13 league games. Points are needed as well as a good performance after a couple of gutless losses recently. In fact, it's 3 losses on the bounce. More to follow
I haven't managed to keep up while away, and it seems I haven't missed much. I suppose that it could be said there was an improvement against Sunderland as we conceded two goals only instead of three.

Unfortunately Healey hasn’t had much of a chance so not been able to judge him properly. We seem pretty light weight in midfield and sloppy in defence when under pressure .
Not that he's been poor, but Porteous has had a couple of iffy patches in recent games. Mind you so has Hoedt, but maybe his goal saved him. Louza has been pretty abysmal, so deserves to be dropped.
The centre-backs have had too big a gap between them allowing anyone to waltz through. I believe that is a tactical choice, so the criticism of Porteus and Hoedt is misplaced, imho. Porteus’s short passing has been poor and certainly something to work on, but I think he brings so much to us. I was talking to a fan who asked “Why don’t we play a flat back four? With our squad no one gets through.” To me, that’s a pretty fair point.
A midfield 3 of Kayembe, Livermore & TDB smells like trouble to me. Asprilla, Bayo & Martins up top might work mind.
