    Cardiff v Watford

VI's men look for their first win on the road in 13 league games. Points are needed as well as a good performance after a couple of gutless losses recently. In fact, it's 3 losses on the bounce.

I haven't managed to keep up while away, and it seems I haven't missed much. I suppose that it could be said there was an improvement against Sunderland as we conceded two goals only instead of three.

Probably won't be able to join you tomorrow as visiting friends, unless I can sneak off.
    Enjoy the game hopefully.

Evening folks, Bluebird fan dropping by in peace.

Should be an interesting game tomorrow, we've been in very good form but came unstuck midweek against a resurgent Middlesbrough and have also picked up several long term injuries to key players.

Your boys appear to be surprisingly out of form but as always your squad has some quality in it, including one of our old boys Rhys Healey.

If you wish to stop by our board and match day thread feel free, we're a small but (generally) friendly bunch....

Safe travels to any Hornets making the journey, I hope you enjoy your day (but not the result of course :emoticon-0105-wink:).

Unfortunately Healey hasn’t had much of a chance so not been able to judge him properly.

We seem pretty light weight in midfield and sloppy in defence when under pressure .

Seems like we've got our tactics spot on there.

Not that he's been poor, but Porteous has had a couple of iffy patches in recent games. Mind you so has Hoedt, but maybe his goal saved him.

Louza has been pretty abysmal, so deserves to be dropped.

The centre-backs have had too big a gap between them allowing anyone to waltz through. I believe that is a tactical choice, so the criticism of Porteus and Hoedt is misplaced, imho. Porteus’s short passing has been poor and certainly something to work on, but I think he brings so much to us. I was talking to a fan who asked “Why don’t we play a flat back four? With our squad no one gets through.” To me, that’s a pretty fair point.

A midfield 3 of Kayembe, Livermore & TDB smells like trouble to me.
Asprilla, Bayo & Martins up top might work mind.

Yes - does show the lack of options in midfield really .

Glad Martins and Asprilla are in .

    Sunny day in Cardiff.
Unlike here where it's pelting down with rain.
