It's a new dawn. It's a new day....and I'm feeling good. Cardiff City v Southampton Referee: Jonathan Moss Assistants: Harry Lennard, Andy Halliday Fourth official: Graham Scott (Thanks to Tom) Cardiff sit 16th on 11 points; Saints 18th on 9 points. A very good game to win.
And Saturday is my Birthday. Not really, but please all wish me Happy Birthday as our last win came on my Birthday on Saturday on 1st September. So if you all wish me well again, maybe we'll win this. (No presents needed this time ) #StrawClutching
As I said this is a good match to win, but it isn't a must win. A win would do wonders, but a loss doesn't mean we should be tearing our hair out.....the man needs to be given time. So a 6-0 win to Saints it is.
If we lose to Cardiff then that would be rubbish, but the whole season has been rubbish so it won't make much difference. The good news is that moving forward things under the big Austrian will improve and maybe things will become less rubbish.
What its like to be a Saints Fan in a nutshell I think I'l predict a draw just to cover all bases Mrs S says we'll win. Well, I haven't asked her, but she always says we'll win. Such a happy little soul
Without knowing the injury situation I would go for McCarthy Valery Stephens Yoshie Bertrand PEH Lamina Gabbi Armstrong Redmand Ings (or Obafemi)
But they also don't experience the highs....the lows are what we pay for occasional moments of sheer joy. Though to be fair we haven't had many of those....Swansea was the last one I can remember.
I like the look of that team personally, but one thing that gets me every time (and if it's a dyslexia issue then please accept my apologies) but you do always call poor Nathan "Redmand". It's Redmond! (Being a football supporter, I do also attribute our poor season to date to this, and as soon as you correct it we'll start freely scoring and have a wall for defence).
