In training to join the army, our platoon sergeant was Welsh. Can't remember his name. Anyway, on st David's day he brought us all this humongous leek...to eat...on parade, then immediately beasted us on an 8 miler. Was chucking up leek all the way round. We all was. Good Times.
I think I watched thst film at a pivotal point of changing my username! Forrest whittaker (probably one for the netflix thread) is truly an amazing actor. Excellent in platoon.

Another amazing film, with the actors self interest these days films like that cannot be made, I mean who would go into a jungle in full make up, red lips and all lol.
