So after that Norwich match, Mick's swearing and everything else - there are more fixtures this season! 14 to be exact, 7 home 7 away. Oh how exciting..... I guess the first question, is will we stick with the same system as we did vs Nodge or go back to 4 at the back? I am going to hazard a guess at 4 at the back, with MAYBE Celina AND Carayol getting a go wide in a flat 4.4.2. Assume the players are absolutely hanging as they gave everything vs Nodge - cannot fault workrate. Fresh legs surely needed. Hope to god Hyam doesn't get on the pitch, seriously poor vs Norwich. Soon as he came on, we were absolutely pulled to kingdom come in CM. Cardiff will be fresher and I think that'll tell for this game. 2-1 defeat. COYB.
I honestly expect us to go and beat them.. Or at expect us to not lose at least. It will be yet another ugly game of 'football' but we'll somehow come away with a 1-0 win with yet again Bart being the Man of the Match.

Got a feeling we will have a hangover from the Norwich draw. Cardiff haven't fluked their league position, so they should be rightly considered favourites. Warnock is a similar manager to Mick, I think they even play similar styles of football, so I think this season is their equivalent of our 2014/15 campaign. I'd be surprised if they got top two, but Mick does occasionally like gifting his mates an easy three points when nothing is to play for. 2-0 loss for us.

I wouldn't agree with that completely, ptc. While I didn't mean to infer that Warnock sets his teams up to play negative football to the extent that Mick does, Warnock definitely has set his teams up very defensively against better opposition. So I'd argue Warnock is a pragmatic manager while Mick is a more cynical manager. I meant to draw similarities between the styles of their football, which are both typically direct and has an emphasis on physicality and more 'old-school values'. I know Warnock is doing a very good job at Cardiff, and he has continued to surprise the media by managing to maintain their high league position, however, I still think they'll slip to finish in the play offs and I cannot see them getting through that against potential opposition like Aston Villa, Derby, and Fulham.
I think there will be a determination to get the 3 points after Sunday’s result. You know how it goes when MM’s back is against the wall.
It will be interesting to see what kind of reception MM get's tonight from the fans after his outburst at the weekend.

I think it's another 5-3-2, Gaffer. Same back five (apart from Spence for Iorfa), a central midfield trio of Hyam, Skuse, and Ward, and then a strikeforce of Celina and Sears. I'll avoid being too negative, as the formation and line up before the Norwich game was pretty negative and surprising, yet we were several seconds from all three points. Having said that, Hyam and Ward in central midfield and Sears up front strike me as poor decisions. I know we can use the rest of the season to experiment, but I presumed that would ensure players like Nydam and Morris would be given more opportunities rather than out of form squad players like Hyam and Sears.
Freddie has not been on fire for months...not a goal to his name for best part of a year. So we play him up front v in form Cardiff. Hyam & Skuse pairing rings alarm bells. 0 -3 depressing slump goes on. Prove me wrong! COYBs

Skuse remains an enigma to us, the epitome of Mick tedious defensive, workman-like player for so long, now consistantly one of the more inspiring. B...er. one against the run of play 1 down.
