Might be a City, but hardly a big team, but Masky wishes them well after Saturday! We welcome our kissing cousins from down west....bless your beautiful heart! Hope there’ll be no Calamity occurring for us...we are the form team....hot diggity! Que Sera it’s only a game, perhaps a game of five goals, with the swans getting a consolation! 4-1, two for Ivanhoooooooooooooooooe!
I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that we don't get that guy from the Prem. Var (don't know his second name).
(reply to realred on another thread copied to here at the suggestion of Nin, ) Always a tough game against the Jacks. Usually very close and I don't really see it any different this time. Any form of win will do us and usually it's by the odd goal either way. A draw won't be a disaster for either of us but I'd like t think with us being the home side, they will be the happier with that result. I do not want to have to come back from conceding the first goal again - we need to push on to them and score first. Easier said than done but we have to go for it from the off and press high, not let them sit back and play tippy tappy across the back line,
I’d take a draw now. It’s not going to be pretty. Can’t see it being much different to last seasons cagey encounter; neither want to lose. I believe Swansea have conceded less goals than any other team. Ayew is as good a player as any in this league. Our record against them is poor and whilst what happened last season or whenever shouldn’t matter, you can’t help feeling it does. It doesn’t help that Harris won’t know his starting X1 until Saturday given Wilson’s injury https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/its-not-good--cardiff-19435387
It's always tense and close. Apart from the 3-0 thumping they gave us at the Liberty in our first Prem season (wasn't that under OGS? ), there's never been more than a single goal difference in all games with them for more than 20 years. No reason why it should be any different tomorrow with both sides not wanting to lose it just as much as win it. Having said that, if we can get the first goal, then I'd bank on us getting another one or two if the game opens up.
Totally agree. We don't want to go a goal down as Swansea will certainly know how to defend it as evidenced by their goals conceded record.
I used to impatiently wait for these games to come along, now I dread them. Tomorrow will be no different.
Agree. Can't wait for it to be over - far too much at stake besides the points. Much more looking forward to the Brum game midweek.
plus you'll have that Libertarian/Vetch fella swarming all over this place if they do win!!! I reckon a hard fought 2-2
Watcha Robbie. Hope all is well and the legs aren't playing up too much. Veich is ok, he just knows how to push some buttons Anyway, he'll be too busy at his new allotment (see picture on the Swansea's pitch thread). You're right that it will be hard fought but I'm not sure that there will be that many goals. That said, I'm not in good form with regard to forseeing outlcomes as evidenced by my standing in the prediction league Chance for your guys to make further progress tomorrow too, though Wycombe aren't a pushover anymore.
hiya cling, yeah doing ok, had a call from the surgeons secretary today offering me a date in March for the op, only problem is we go on hols to St Lucia in middle of April so too close for flying and stuff. Looks like I have to wait until we come home so that'll be over 2 years since they decided it needed doing
