So who's going down for this one Saturday then? I'm stupidly excited for what is essentially a meaningless friendly, but it is my first ever pre season friendly and I can't wait to see all the new boys in action, particularly Filip Kiss he seems an exciting signing.

Was also wondering if any of you guys were gonna make a day of it? Get down early soak up the atmosphere? etc. Shamless plug and apologies for it but I'll be carrying round a bucket for donations to the Fred Keenor statue fund so if you see me or any of my compatriots please do chuck in a few pennies.

Also, why do the BBC feel the need to mention our exodus of players and manager every time they pen a new article regarding our great club? It's getting tedious now.... We know!

I'll be there Drew, taking my 3 Grandsons. Went to the Celtic game I think a very different team this Saturday.

Went to the Celtic game missed Yeovil, not going to West Ham, and since the Wuzzles game has been moved to a Sunday it clashes with a wedding............I'll be getting withdrawal symptoms <yikes>

I bet they can't wait Rhondda! Hope they have a great day. I will agree with you on that one, the team we see Saturday will be much closer to that we see at Upton Park the following Sunday. Hopefully Earnie and Miller up front with no players playing out of position.

Blimey Proph! Bloody egg chasers in the Millstad, why can't their game be moved to the Sunday! I'm feeling that withdrawl at the moment mate, haven't been to a game since January!

I am going and I am excited just to see Earnie doing the ayatollah as a bluebird again. Love it!! Got Family over from Aussie to so a few bluebirds from down under will see the stadium for the first time I reckon about 20 of us about 7 from aus.

That commitment for you the jacks go to Aus for a pre season tour all and bluebirds start leaving the country. I just hope when the family get back home all their scrap and iron hasn’t been nicked!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone get some game time. Hopefully Conway will get on at some stage.

On the subject of the FK appeal. Anybody know how far off the target it is?

I hear families prepared well. They slashed the caravan tires to make sure that their neath neighbours don't try and pick up a free home while they are away..

Very impressed indeed with today's performance. They looked more of a team than for most of last season put together and although it was only a friendly I think there's plenty of reason to be cheerful.
