Dont appear to be on S4C as someone thought, but is on Cardiff City TV apparantly! It would have been a good idea for the aforementioned company to dish it out free to make potential customers aware of its being...only a thought as Masky scratches his bollocks! Anyone going?
BT is but I'm still away in south of England. Might go to Upton Country Park and take in some sun - again.
When I was a kid, a quid was well beyond my comprehension and reach! I well remember my first week in employment, I earned a few farthings (ask BT), caught a trolley bus into town, and went out disco dancing in the Central Market...made love to a few women, sixteen pints of Watney’s Red Barrel, fish and chips on the way home and still had change from a tanner (again ask BT)! Great times! Fug off!
First half a non event. Second half better due largely to the introduction of Tomlin and Bogle. Bacuna did a decent job. If no new CM or forward then I’d start but a lot depends on the formation. Etheridge Peltier Morrison Flint Bennett Ralls Vaulks Bacuna/Murphy Reid NML Bogle
It was worth the quid but that was a very patchy performance from City - some of the passing was woeful. Can't judge much by these pre-season outings especially with all the changes being made during the game. Have to say though that Josh Murphy and Bobby Reid dissappointed for different reasons. Nothing wrong with the commitment of Reid, but his first touch was terrible and the ball seemed to run away from him. Murphy was the opposite - very light weight and lost the ball numerous times. Morrison and Flint played the whole game and looked pretty solid - obviously they are the intended CB pairing for now. Best players on the pitch - Joe Bennett and Bacuna by a country mile. The changes in the second half brought Tomlin onto the pitch but he tried to make up for lost time by putting himself about. He would have been far better off starting the game instead of Reid as the No. 10 and build on his game - Reid could have come on second half. Lots to think about after that lot but with Madine going off injured, we have a lot to think about up top. Wardy ran his socks off but he can't lead the line. Bogle did well when he came on but we need some class up front to do real damage.
BT told me that apart from Ralls' goal, Madine going off injured and the excitement of our sub changes, the game was a yawn fest. Glad I enjoyed the sunshine elsewhere. Come on City, give us something to get excited about, sign a striker!!!
You had sunshine? Was drizzling when I left Rhayader mid-morning which got heavier as i headed north. By the time i got back home it was steady rain. It hasnt stopped.
