    Gavin Ward the ref.

Officiated our recent win at Bournemouth, made some controversial decisions at the swansea v Boro game recently and was suckered into giving Fulham a penalty when Mitrovic fell over against us last season.

What a chance this game is for City. With the 4 teams around us, Barnsley, Reading, Bournemouth and Middlesbrough all playing games amongst themselves, 3 points at home tomorrow would be massive.

I'd like to think our Easter Monday clash at the Wendies could be for a place in that top 6. If we get there by Monday night, I think we've got a great chance of staying there.

I reckon Bournemouth could blow up like Forest did last season, and I really don't fancy Reading's remaining fixtures. We've still got to win our own games, but I'd rather have to do that than have to rely on others slipping up.

Morrison is not playing - hadn’t read about his likely absence.

    Ralls LWB again?

    Ng on bench.

Looks like we're going to play very narrow again with that lineup. No "official" widemen - just using Sang and Ralls down the sides.

Moore/Wilson/Bacuna could come off big time if they can stay near each other.

    No Morrison!!!

Not so clear cut as expected.

Assume he's still suffering from the ankle injury suffered v Swansea.

Moore was so isolated in last game. Needs support.

Neither wing back will get up and down much

We appear to have another pint sized jerk of a ref. Would accept that was a foul by Brown but hardly a booking.

Not unexpected-sterile central midfield, no proper wing backs and Wilson as usual isn’t getting the ball. Moore looks off his game.

Wholesale changes needed for 2nd half.

Agree with most of that Nin but I think Sang is doing well. Moore looks absolutely shattered but was unlucky not to score then.

Poor effort. Morrison much missed at both ends. Hope he's back Tuesday.

    Or Monday even. <doh>

at least you only lost by 1 goal, our fugging twats dropped 3 into QPR's lap!!!!!! QPR had to change shorts at half-time, cos they'd pissed them laughing at our defending. I think we're on our way down.

    Abject performance.
Summed up by Forest scoring from their only shot and Flint missing a sitter.
If Norwich were watching then they wouldn’t offer £7 for Vaulks.

    The Vaulks story was rubbish.

He is what he is hard working , niggly player with a good shot.

Cant pass a ball. Worth what we paid about 700k.

Need better in the middle. Id put Sang there.

We’ve been saying this every season for ages.

Next season it’ll be the same old. MM for some unfathomable reason rates Vaulks - no wonder he’s not in the Wales squad.

Pack or Ralls just about ok for a steady tiller but Bacuna and Vaulks nowhere near good enough.

Now is the time for MM to start looking out for a brand new spanking central midfield and flying wingers.
