The Whites are a point ahead of the Baggies, but more importantly seven points ahead of third place Fulham who are the visitors to Elland Road in a massive six pointer next Wednesday. Influential midfielder Kalvin Phillips should return to the starting line up after missing the Huddersfield game with a minor knee injury. After scoring his 13th goal of the season against Huddersfield last week, Patrick Bamford looks set to keep his place as lone striker. Klich, White, Dallas and Harrison all play their 38th game of the season. 9th place Cardiff are only two points away from the play off zone. Bielsa's men will remember too well their encounter mid December when the Bluebirds came from three - nil down to secure a point.
Another sort of bogey team. Remember playing them in the cup when we were top of the Premier, well we know what happened after that. It's nice to know we can lose without it effecting us too much. But IMO we are on a nice run and have a confidence about us and hopefully we can beat them.
Watched some of a cl game last night on the tv. Was an empty stadium job. PSG playing. Felt a bit weird for about ten minutes but got used to the lack of atmosphere as game went on. Will be a hell of a lot better than suspending the season
Morning all. In the last few games Leeds seem to be playing with confidence and a will to win that Cardiff will find it difficult to cope with. ( I hope ).
Really? Thought it was being advertised as the early kick off main game. Presumed BT had the prem match. Beginning to doubt it will be played TBH.
Sky currently have Rangers v Celtic at midday and West Ham v Wolves at 2pm as their main games. Cardiff v Leeds sandwiched in between at 1pm on red button.
Does anyone remember the pools panel that used to operate for cancelled games surely this should operate now or better still just give us promotion now
I wonder if we can get Augustin fit before it restarts or can we save a few quid and send him home now?
I hear Cardiff were do s**t scared of playing us they lobbied the EFL to cancel games for a month. Understandable.
Joking aside , this is steak mess for the football authorities, clubs will have legal challenges prepared if they don’t finish the season, tv contracts for domestic and champions league football to honour. Never known anything like this. And not being flippant but I genuinely I don’t know how deadly this is that it’s caused such panic worldwide?
