    Good Morning Everyone

Third play first on Tuesday night for the top of the table clash at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Cardiff are pushing for their biggest gate of the season, and have urged fans to ‘bring a friend’ with them, with discounted rates on offer.

I've always liked the Cadiff not606ers, great bunch.... <whistle>

One person who will be making the trip is Lassogga. He has been told to hurry back to Leeds following the birth of his baby daughter.

    Leeds United‏Verified account@LUFC
Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter @lasogga10 hurry back for Tuesday #Family

Should he be allowed a few days paternity leave?

Christensen needs to decide whether to mix up the team against following their narrow 3-2 win against the tractor boys on Saturday?

Klitch and Viera were unlucky to be left out imo following their performance in the Cup against Burnley a week ago.

Same can be said of Berardi, especially as Anita has not been at his best for the last couple of games.

We heard on Saturday that Jansson was fit to play on Saturday, but the gaffer decided top bench the Swedish international.

    Surely he'll start tomorrow.

    What about Penningon?

If fully fit, should he start?

Is it also time to bring Roofe back to the starting line up?

In a recent interview Colin described his time at ER, as the toughest he has endured as a Manager.
Was he underestimated during his tenure at Leeds?

Morning all, I think Colin was promised funds/players and they never materialised, he is a decent manager at this level. The problem with all older coaches and managers, they fail to accept new methods and ways.

Mick at Ipswich, Wenger at Arsenal, both sets of fans shouting that they are well past their sell by date.

A massive test for us on Tuesday so we need the best 11 on the pitch from the first minute. As for selection I've scratched my head a couple of times this season and been surprised by the performance.

I'm hoping Lasogga wants to play and I can't see he will have asked for extended leave.

    Morning Elland and boardmates.

This game about this time last season was the turning point for both clubs. Bad start to the season with Monk and Trollope playing for their jobs.

You stuffed us 2-0 and the rest is history. Monk kept his job and took you up the table - we ditched Trollope and brought Warnock in.

Totally different feel about the game to morrow. Both riding high and nothing really to lose except pride and a few points.

I'd take a point apiece at the moment and see how things go toward the sharp end of the season.

Warnock's record as a manager at this level is pretty impressive, he gets the best out of unfashionable players, makes his sides hard to beat and capable of bagging a few goals... except at Leeds! Where he was practically part time and we were carp. Maybe he just thought Cellino was too barking to work for and chucked the towell in straight away, took ur as a holiday.

Done a great job at Cardiff... ignoring results and looking at recent performances I'd be very happy with a point tomorrow.

Just a foot note from Saturday.

I am guessing the psychologists have been making suggestions.
The absence of any music with lyrics before the game (apart from one faded out verse of MOT after the handshakes) or at half time deadens the atmosphere. I am guessing this is to lessen the pressure on the team, either that or Rad is too tight to pay royalties. The lift muzak played is ****ing awful.

Couldn't see the big screen but I am guessing that the old clips are no longer shown and again that must be about lowering pressure and expectations.

The matchday experience isn't as good as it used to be, but if it helps the team so be it.

Even the half time stuff is very low key.

The South Stand makes the atmosphere now at Elland Rd Chirpy, Ipswich fans were dumbstruck at the atmosphere on Saturday, it is starting to get like the good old days
One complaint is that the stewards are a pain in the arse and don't have common sense, do them fckrs get paid and if so how much?

Morning all. Lasogga will be back as Hay confirmed hes doing the prematch presser. Have to admire the guys commitment even though I wouldnt put anything above the birth of any of my kids. Each to their own though. Taking delivery of a new armchair this evening. Want time to bed it in for the Cardiff game

Yep either Lasogga hates babies or is demonstrating a commendable commitment to the cause. Have to say though, visiting his new child in another country, playing for Leeds and taking delivery of a new armchair... the guy knows how to pack a schedule!

Tom - this thread is about two teams at the top of the league.

I can understand your interest, but stick to shagging turnips for the moment until you're up here with us. <ok>

I think it will be a tight game and the goals coming in the last 20 minutes, should be a good night as its looking like being almost a sell out. Bamba to score against you, you know its going to happen.
