Well let's' take that Stoke performance over the bridge to Cardiff and bring three points back to Bristol.

Saturday 15-2-25 - 12:30pm kick off

We don't want a Swansea performance we want a Stoke performance.

This is a game we must win if we want to stay in contention for a playoff spot.

Let's hope Mr Manning and his players turn up and put a performance on in front of another sold out away end.
Our fanbase has been brilliant away from home up and down the country this season-far better than our home support sadly Ashton Gate is a morgue and the atmosphere is awful in recent months.

Mr Manning play Armstrong alongside Wells as a front two lets see what they can do-give them a go.

Going for a 2-0 Bristol City win -always believe you reds.

Have to say, Stoke were diabolical and you barely needed to get out of 2nd gear to beat them.
(And yes,bi did see the game, my wife and I are on opposite sides this weekend).

Apart from the goals and a relatively resolute defensive performance I didn't think you guys played particularly well (TBF you didn't need to as Stoke were really really poor).

If you play like you did in the first half v Swansea you will probably get something.
Play like you did in the 2nd half v Swansea or like large parts of Wednesday and you will probably struggle.

Safe travels to any of you coming over. Please just behave yourselves, we don't want you trying to replicate your behaviour v Blackburn!!!

Stoke were as bad as any i have seen in the division-they have a cracking manager in Robbins-but will the coates family give him the funds and time to turn it around.

First half we battered Swansea but could not score-Second half i thought Swansea were the better side.
IF city have aspirations of a playoff spot then with all due respect they need to be beating a struggling Cardiff side.

You have only won two in six -so i hope we win and bring the points back over the bridge.

May the best team win.

 

This game is their cup final though with us being the closest English team to them. I don’t think we’ll lose today.

This is my issue with Knight, 2nd minute the ball breaks free in the Cardiff box to him, begging for a first time shot, yet he tries to control and beat a player - why….FFS, hit the thing!!

 

A very lack lustre first 30 mins from both sides. Absolutely no pace or energy so far….

 

Armstrong is working so hard he will require dusting at half time!!!!

 

Not at all backed up by the midfield. I’m sick of saying how similarly uncreative Bird & Knight are in the midfield. Playing both of them stifles any creativity for me.
