    KO 3:00pm

Just about ready to go down CCS, looking forward to seeing the new players.

Should be a good run out for our boys.

Different game, but Nugent on the bench for the Bees this afternoon.

In our game, late change with Cowie in for Mutch. Hope it's nothing serious.

Mutch named but doesn't start. Cowie starts instead - hope Mutch hasn't tweaked something again - he was starting to look good back end of last season.

EDIT - When dod you put that up remote - I feel like a pillock now....<laugh>

Nice to see Declan John get a start.

Only seen him once before away at Northampton last season. Looked very good going forward with a great left foot. Possibly a bit small for a full back although he could have grown in the last year.

Played the right game in the first half and watched and waited when the Chievo had the ball (and they had a lot of it).

Second half, we stepped up a gear and took the game to them. Scoreline was a fair reflection. They could have ahad a couple but we played the better controlled football.

That's the sort of game we needed at this stage and next Saturday against Bilbao will move us on again.

I'd like to see Harris involved next Saturday. Goals and assist for the development, what more can he do?

Only a friendly however Brayford needs to improve imo, other than that it was just a pleasant afternoon in the sun, on a side note, season tickets being sent out in the next 2 to 3 weeks !!! Tom got his new shirt and they charge an extra £6 to put the Barclays premier league logos on the sleeves !! Welcome to the premier league everyone, £44 for a shirt and thats with 10% off. Plus the Strongbow has gone up by 50p a pint......wtf

like i said it was little more than a half pace friendly, i would think that next weeks friendly will see the starting line up for the first game of the season against the Ammmers.

Yes, Bellers was involved in the training session match I briefly glimpsed yesterday. Great news.
