Impressive victories over Nottingham Forest and Bristol City last week kept alive the Tigers’ faint hopes of securing a play-off spot in what has been an impressive first season at Category Two level. With four games remaining in the camapign, Tony Pennock’s side are third in the U21 Professional Development League 2 North table, nine points behind second-placed Sheffield United with a game in hand. Cardiff, meanwhile, have been in sparkling form since the turn of the year and are unbeaten in nine games. The Bluebirds registered a 3-1 win against Leeds United at Elland Road in their previous outing and are currently second in the Southern section, level on points with Millwall and Colchester United, with all three teams nine points behind league leaders Charlton Athletic.
Interested in how Greg Olley is doing seen as he was born up here in the North East. I don't get to see the Ressies at all these days. BTW, when a game of block went tits up and you couldn't find that annoying little oik who no one really knew, who always had snot dropping from their nose. Or it was teatime. Or someone had just fallen out of a tree and broken their coccyx. We'd shout 'Olly Olly In!' And everyone had to come a'running. Anyone know why 'Olly, Olly, In'?
Aye. A quick bit of googling suggests several variations. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olly_olly_oxen_free
Tymon didn't play in the U21s game at the KC the other week either and he wasn't in the first team squad then either. Maybe he's injured or something.
