Cardiff fans seem to have gotten a bit more confidence this past week - quite a few more reckon they'll nick it, with the more reserved going for a score draw.
Look guys, we'd honestly have to play a whole lot better than we have so far this season to have any hope of winning the game. A draw is favoured by most over here with a few going either way for a narrow win for one side or the other. I've said I can't see this ending a stalemate with Warnock busting a gut to take this side away from the turgid rubbish we had to endure under Trollope, and for that matter Slade before him. We'll either bomb out or take it by the scruff and turn you over against all the sensible odds. "Blood and guts" was the way he described his preferred approach to such games and that means toward player and supporter attitudes and not as alleged in a post above, thuggery on the pitch. Love him or hate him, Warnock has started something across here that we haven't felt for the last couple of years. If his passion for the game is mirrored by those he sends out tomorrow rather than the limp performances so far, this could be the best and easily the most exciting game I'll have watched since we came down from the Prem - really looking forward to this one.
Narrow win for the Robins. Even if Warnock mixes and matches the new signings, they won't be match fit nor will they be used to playing with other team-mates. One of the things we've seen so far from junior is excellent use of subs and I think that that could be the difference in this game.
Warnock will fire them up for sure. I cannot see Warnock playing all 4 new signings from the off, I don't think they have a league between them this season, so will be woefully short on match fitness. It would tie his sub options up as I suspect he would to commit alt least 2 if not all 3 of his subs to replacing those players in the last 20-30 mins, which would tie his hand in changing anything else in the game.
