Wigan Athletic are set to hand debuts to midfielder Joe Williams and teenage wing-back Dujon Sterling, who has joined on a season loan from Chelsea. Fellow summer signings, goalkeeper David Marshall and midfielder Lewis Macleod, are also in line for debuts, as is Graham Kavanagh. Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is eyeing a ninth promotion and has new faces Gavin Whyte, Aden Flint, Curtis Nelson and Will Vaulks available. Defender Sol Bamba (knee) is out and striker Gary Madine is a doubt. Another summer signing Robert Gletzel is banned as he completes a two-game suspension after being sent off for former club 1 FC Heidenheim against Vfl Osnabruck in May. Match facts Wigan have lost only two of their previous 14 league games against Cardiff (W6 D6 L2), losing both games during the 2014-15 campaign, in which they were relegated. Any other exiles having trouble accessing the Cardiff City site ?? No live football for me today if they cannot accept payment
Hi Danablu, I managed to pay and have proof. Haven't been ble to find the link to the game, it keeps going back to the subscription page.
Taff I was e mailed twice as I tried to pay accepting my payment But nothing was taken from my bank account and none of the videos on site work
Teams in.............. Cardiff City: Etheridge, Peltier, Bennett, Morrison, Flint, Bacuna, Ralls, Murphy, Decordova-Reid, Mendez-Laing, Madine. Subs: Day, Vaulks, Nelson, Whyte, Ward, Bogle, Hoilett.
Hmmm, interesting. Warnock sees something in Madine that I don't. But he picks the team not me. Lol!!! Time for Madine to start doing what he's paid for and score. I thought Vaulks would have started.
Perhaps Madine is in the shop window? Bacuna instead of Vaulks would suggest we're going there not to lose it. Having said that, theres enough with Mendez, Murphy, Reid in there besides Madine to get some joy in front of goal. Remember, we've got Morro and Flinty for the set pieces as well - quietly confident.
Id have gone with vaulks, and with bogle up top. I suppose away from home, keep it tight for an hour and see what happens. Vaulks bogle and whyte off the bench to finish them off.
Wigan look dangerous down the flanks and contrary to what the commentator says, we have struggled a bit against them in the midfield. Bacuna is playing well, as is Madine. Ralls & Murphy need to be very careful, both are lucky to still be on the pitch. Won't take much for the ref to tell them to walk. Wigan want to keep the ball and we are happy for them to have it. Enjoyable and frustrating in equal measure.
Anyone else in this country paid for a season pass with CCFCTV for the live game commentaries? I used to listen on CCFC ifollow to away games last season but that seems to have gone missing. Paid my subscription for this season to CCFCTV but no commentary today - at least I can't get it - any ideas?
Cheers Taff - tried that but just getting a "whirlygig" thing in the centre of the screen - as though it's buffering.
