"Cardiff City have offered refunds to about 70 of their 16,000 season ticket holders who oppose changing the team's shirts from blue to red. The move to alter the shirts, which includes a new dragon crest, was confirmed as part of "major and significant" investment last month." BBC Website I thought that they'd already bought their season tickets up until 2014. Can they get a refund if they are relegated?
I think it's 12,000. We could have up to 15,000, as we have to keep a max of 3000 seats for away supporters I think. But this would mean hardly any seat available for members/ non season ticket holders. I'm getting nervous that there won't be any STs available for new buyers ( like me) once they have processed all the renewals. I will be mightily pissed off if I miss out.
it doesnt make sense to go to 15k because then every seat is sold at a discount when they really want 3-4k paying full price. Also we only have to keep 1800 for away fans, just the top tier.
Cant understand why the club gave the whole school end to anyone last season. Makes so much more sense to give them to r'ss fans and increase the support for the team at home games. Logical isnt it?
Could be police for their segregation. "You either have both tiers as away fans or we say you can't use the lower tier for that game". For your overall allocation of season tickets PL rules also restrict you. It's 10% for away fans, and then based on what we were allowed to sell another 10% of tickets has to be saved for home fans for "pay on the day". (We were allowed just over 20k season ticket holders in a 25,404 stadium)
