Looks as if Rangers are struggling to compete with Cardiff for the signing of players.

From everything I've heard the old firm would thrive in the Prem, but it looks as if players are chosing us over Rangers.

Saying that, a few of our guys have gone to them (well, Celtic anyway) in the past couple of seasons. <doh>

Well from the clips of the two players we might have from Dundee you would have thought Rangers could have tried a bit harder to sign them.

its a lack of money. rangers and celtic will always have far more support than we will ever have. they also compete in a poor league, meaning that players can get competitive football and good wages, even in the championship.

a few years ago, when rangers / celtic were paying big money, they were doing well in europe and attracting big players. take that money away and they are a worse team, football is governed by money nowadays.

if I was a tad braver I'd pop over to their board and ask them if Whittaker was good enough for the championship but I'm afraid I may get abused :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Hello again HT. Even though its NOT606 its a home from home.

My tongue is very much in my cheek. Nice to have a giggle though.

It does suggest McCoist has tight constraints to work within.

Spent the last 6 months in Glasgow every week working with a Rangers supporter. 7th Floor of an office near the Central Station. He picked a desk that allowed him to look out towards Ibrox. Must drop him an email. <devil>
