Football League 21 mins · It has been announced this afternoon that Cardiff City Football Club will play in a blue home kit for the remainder of the 2014/15 season. The decision to switch colours has been approved by The Football League
Thanks guys. It's a great win for the fans and Mr Tan has started building the bridges he burnt by damaging our history, hope he continues to build the bridges. Goodluck lads and lasses.
Good news, well done Bluebirds fans and well done to Tan for admitting he got it wrong. Take note Allam.
Great news. Common sense prevails. Bet Happy and Chazz are really irritated by this. Wouldn't it be great if this was the turning point needed for owners of football clubs to stop dicking about and antagonising everyone and realise they're better off working with the fans.
Wonderful. Good to see how solidarity & persistence can assist in creating a positive outcome. Well done to all those who stood up to be counted.
Hey Princess. Sorry to disappoint, but not interested at all. Comparing our situation with Cardiff and their shirt colour is like comparing us and MK Dons. I.e. pointless, a bit like comparing apples and rockets. Its nice to see that the majority of the Cardiff fans acted together to help achieve something they all wanted. Happily that isn't the case for us, the majority don't give a rats ass one way or the other. But you of course, don't see that. In summary, I'm really not interested in what goes on at other clubs unless it involves us playing them, so, no, not irritated in the slightest.
I see a lot of similarities. A crackpot who knows nothing about football decides to go against the fans and change something fundamental to a football club to try and make them more popular in Asia, despite the whole idea being a crock of ****. At least one crackpot has now realised the error of his ways, hopefully others will follow suit.
Maybe, maybe not. Maybe ones more visionary. Bottom line is the Cardiff shirt colour was more robustly, and more widely supported and protested about by their fans, and PMTs assertion I'd be irritated was wrong. I suspect Chazz will just do a *shrug who cares* too.
The support was absolutely no different to ours. If you went on the Cardiff board at the start of all this nonsense, it was full of Happy Bluebird ****er types like you saying it was worth giving up the kit colour for Premier League football.
Are you suggesting that the majority of Cardiff fans weren't bothered about the colour of their players home shirts? Interesting.
