Cardiff City are in discussions with Dundee United as they bid to sign Scotland striker David Goodwillie.

I'll get rid of mine as soon as I find out how to.
Good player but comes with baggage.
Off field antics are of the sort I was hoping we would be trying to avoid this season.

 

I've heard of London Welsh, but we're becoming Cardiff Scottish.

Yes, if thinks are to be believed he's not a nice young man, bit worried about the rape charge but innocent before being proved guilty.

Not expecting the squad to be squeeky clean, but we could do without too much baggage this season.

 

Rangers would not pay £2m... the chairman himself has said its to high. As for the rape charge, that Goodwillie must have a alter ego Badwillie........Innocent til proven otherwise.

 

With a rape case hanging over him it would be a strange decision to pay the quoted £2 million. If he's found guilty it's certainly porrige time and we'd have wasted that money.
Sounds like a quality player but as already said above do we need another boozer?

Plenty of good players out there if there is a pot of gold to spend.

 

I don't see how we can really take this guy on with all this stuff hanging over his head.
He is good friends with Conway and it's been said thats why he wants to come here? Not sure thats a great reason either.
It could be a case of him pushing himself this way and us sounding him out regarding the matters he's involved in?

On another note I hear a whisper another player is in for a medical tomorrow, it's just board talk though, but it's supposed to be Andrew Taylor.

That is very true but wasn't sure if he'd actually left yet?

 

In all fairnes to him he was a very good player, but so lazy sometimes.
And if he went missing in a game(too often towards the end) then we seemed to be doomed.
I hope we dont get him back, he's been said to have got back in touch with the club.
