We've drawn Exeter City at home in the second round of the League Cup. Sometime during the week commencing 27th August. [Could be a wee fixture problem if Burnley win their Europa match tonight and our game against them - currently scheduled for Saturday 25th - gets moved] Our team selection should be interesting. Traditionally the Gaffer has played mainly youngsters - and they've done well - but with our current bench ..... ???

Our game against Exeter at the Cottage has been confirmed as being on Tuesday 28th August kick off 7:45. Bit surprising, given the Burnley game has been moved to Sunday 26th. However can only assume that the Club are the ones who put the Exeter date forward and leaves me wondering what our strategy is. Sounds like a host of youngsters again ... unless you can see some other plot !?
