I haven't been to a match in the car for a long time normally bus over the bridge, but my granddaughter's getting into football and wants to come with me to watch a game and the only one we can fit in is the match v Rotherham and need to come in the car, I'm looking for parking ideas please

I always park on Hessle Rd or Strickland St, Clive Sully flyover end, & walk up Coltman
St. It’s a stomp back but straight on the A63 & home.

Best place is/was on Selby St, plenty of free parking on the road, walk over Walliker St bridge and there you are.

PS it was good parking three years ago.

I always used to park at booth ferry park. Straight in and out without the crowds and heavy traffic.

But I don’t think you need worry about it any more. You could probably park in one of the spaces running around the side of the ground and be in and out easily without seeing a soul.
