I think like that with things across the board. When someone dies and you get told a funeral is around £4,000 now, where do these people you are talking about find that sort of money?Madness mate. Centrica (British Gas) posting profits nearly 1000% up on the last year then sending letters out to say they’re there for you if you need help. Stop charging me f*cking £300 a month for gas and electric that would help
I’m in a similar boat where I’m lucky enough to earn a wage that’s significant up here but whilst my missus was on maternity then the period that followed we struggled like f*ck. And I remember sitting there sorting some finances out thinking how are low income families or even though on your average wage actually surviving at the minute this is mental.
Big corporations squeezing every penny they can out of people whilst most of us are taking pay cuts in reality because of the cost of living.
I know this is not a great question but what is the cheapest way to get cremated now, me and my missus don’t really want to give anyone much money for getting rid of us. We feel the person who’s left need that money more than some stinking rich funeral director. Have you or anyone else got any ideas?
Maybe should be a new thread.
