Not football related, but Sky News has just reported that Sunderland is the fifth best car friendly town in the UK, taking into account cost of petrol, parking charges and vehicle crime. I always said it was a nice place.
Hope the council don't read this or up go the parking charges. Our place in the car crime league will drop when the scousers come to town in a fortnight, but I can guarantee that the SOL will not be CARoll friendly in any way, and I xpect us to climb back up the EPL.
Out here in the sticks we still prefer the horse and cart, real coal fires, outside bogs and a tin bath by the fire, I love sitting in the bath watching sky on my 50" flat screen TV
As a dedicated cyclist, I wish the council would clear the glass from cycle paths more regularly, as well as fining motorists who use the road-side cycle ways to park on...
