    Hey Steve, you remember that promising young lad, Zak Clough, we tried to sign a while back from Bolton, who said ‘Bristol who?’ And refused to come to us?
    We were pissed off at the time.....
    Well, he’s just signed for the mighty Rochdale!!!

    not a caption … but on the theme of Zak … one we missed out on was Dack his manager at the time said he was better off at Gillingham ...unfortunately the manager got sacked !!!!

    haven't got the time or will power to go back over "news items" at the time but the 72 item is close to the comment that JE advised against a move / move to City as he had a career at Gills . maybe in the short time and would go on to better times / teams in the future …… end of.....
