I honestly think that, when fit, we now have better than Cattermole.

    Smudge. You're talkin bout a spoiler - I'm right?

Cattermole isn't fast enough to be a proper spoiler.

    Trust me.

a spoiler has to break up play then give the ball to someone who knows what to do with said ball.

    Catts aint thet clever

I agree with Smithy I think Catts is quality when fit, I am not sure we do have better I think we have options that are different, the one player that could be better than Catts is Meyler but we will have to wait and see with him.

I'm with the pro Catts, you have to have someone willing to do the unglamorous stuff.

dont get me wrong i think the lad is gona be a great player but he has played about 5 games in 2 years and he is better then all the other midfielders we have.... dont belive the hype mate

for me Cattermole is a starter and will always be. He has had his fair share of injuries, but when fit and 100% he is awesome. Everyone seems to be against Cattermole for know reason. Sometimes our own supporters need to look at them selves.

In fact it really pisses me off that some supporters come on here to throw abuse at a player who gives 100% for us. IMO Cattermole is a better player than Meyler, Colback and Garnder.

Meyler has played like 15 games in 3 seasons and everyone jumps on the f**king bandwagon. He has done f**k all and cannot be judged. He should never be ahead of Garnder, Cattermole and Vaughan. Those 3 should be fighter for the 2 CM positions.

Back to the OP, Brown was captain because it was his first game back at OT, not an unusual gesture.

I think far too many fans are placing far too much faith in David Meyler imo, to be this all round top class player.

Am I alone in being the only person who didn't see it before his injury and now have grave reservations whether injuries haven't effected him badly.

I think cattermole is a much better player than lots of you on here give him credit for and when he is fully fit, he offers us a winning mentality we lack in other areas.

I am a big fan of the lad.
