Milner and Hendo out for the Bournemouth game.

So with the new manager in and with certain players looking better than others so far under Klopp who gets the armband?

Work continues on the construction of Liverpool FC's new Main Stand at Anfield. Photo by James Maloney

Liverpool FC is set to scrap one of the planned footpaths to the redeveloped Anfield stadium to meet with the wishes of local residents.

The club initially wanted to install a footpath link from Alroy Road to the ground, where the main stand is currently being expanded.

But Reds bosses are now applying to cancel the walkway at the request of residents not wishing to encourage the use of the road as a route to the stadium.

Council planners are being asked to approve a number of changes to the redevelopment plans.

    "" style="box-sizing: border-box; width: 300px; border: 0px; vertical-align: bottom;">

The latest application seeks permission to:

Increase the landscaped area around the ground from 4,660m² to 6,470m² - roughly the size of a football pitch - including a new grassed area fronting Walton Breck Road;Make changes to concrete paving flags – but the concept of a coloured ‘scarf’ directing fans to the main entrances will be retained;Reduce the number of new trees from 123 to 100; comprising 96 trees within the main landscaped area outside the ground, and a further four trees in theHillsborough Memorial Garden;Move lighting columns slightly further away from nearby homes;Make changes to the outside broadcast area on Anfield Road to accommodate structural changes to the stadium.

Sakho if he plays is the obvious choice.

Been playing well but he's fairly young and I'd prefer he concentrate on his game.

Thought he was younger, he's been great since Klopp came in and I don't want to rock that boat. Lucas for me is the obvious choice.

I predict Lucas. Klopp has been very talkative with him in and after every match.

Well he captained Psg at 17 so wouldn't be new to him, I think he's a better bet long term and it would also signify Klopps trust in him and how he sees him as part of a long term plan.

Good point, I'd be happy with Lucas, Sakho or Can after recent performances.

Claudio Ranieri promised his players pizza. Ours would get fish fingers.
