I know its a bit early yet as we have not dipped our toes in the transfer market but can any 606rs suggest who would be suitable, a Danny Murphy type maybe Me an odd choice from whats left of our squad "Stockdale"
Looking at the tattered remnants of our first team squad, the only real options are Stockdale and Parker. We really need to sign some players.
Indeed - please log in to view this image And that picture is not made better when you consider the distinct possibilty that Kasami, Kvist, Mitroglou, Ruiz, Stekelenberg, Richardson, Dejagah, and Trotta may also leave. Stockdale and Parker may be the only options.
Of the surviving players currently with the club, we could do worse than Kieran Richardson if he stays. Let's not panic though, let's wait and see who gets brought in. Who captained the under 23s last season? Maybe one of our young hopefuls has leadership skills and would flourish in the senior role? post script: Just for a moment I thought this thread was about me and wondered what I'd done to upset kunye. Egotistical? Me? Surely not!
Of course you can't know until you try, but I'm not convinced Richardson is really an ideal candidate to lead what will be a young team. He strikes me as more the strong, quiet senior player. More like Hangeland really. Having said that, I really want Richardson to stay and maybe I'm being unfair.
