The draw for the first round of the Capital One Cup is at 9:30BST on Monday 17th June http://www.capitalonecup.co.uk/news/article/round-1-seedings-1314-861093.aspx We will be up against one of the Southern Seeded sides. Who would you like to be drawn against and why?
I'd be happy with pretty much any away match, bar MK dons, Brum, Peterborough and any others of equalish distance to those. I could just finish work a bit earlier, but that also means having to get up and go in earlier.
We're away to Bournemouth! Here's the draw in full: Bury v Crewe Alexandra Shrewsbury Town v Bolton Wanderers Middlesbrough v Accrington Stanley Doncaster Rovers v Rochdale Preston North End v Blackpool Barnsley v Scunthorpe United Tranmere Rovers v Mansfield Town York City v Burnley Notts County v Fleetwood Town Sheffield United v Burton Albion Oldham Athletic v Derby County Carlisle United v Blackburn Rovers Morecambe v Wolverhampton Wanderers Nottingham Forest v Hartlepool United Leeds United v Chesterfield Huddersfield Town v Bradford City Rotherham United v Sheffield Wednesday Port Vale v Walsall Gillingham v Bristol City AFC Bournemouth v Portsmouth Wycombe Wanderers v Leicester City Brentford v Dagenham and Redbridge Exeter City v Queens Park Rangers Charlton Athletic v Oxford United Southend United v Yeovil Town Millwall v AFC Wimbledon Swindon Town v Torquay United Birmingham City v Plymouth Argyle Stevenage v Ipswich Town Cheltenham Town v Crawley Town Bristol Rovers v Watford Northampton Town v Milton Keynes Dons Leyton Orient v Coventry City Colchester United v Peterborough United Brighton and Hove Albion v Newport County
With the Cherries' small stadium, it might have been more profitable to have been drawn at home, but never mind, an interesting tie all the same.
Thought Cherries were adding a new away stand same size as their home stand, if finished in time this would be most helpful.
Oh ffs, it'll be the fifth time we've played friggin' Bournemouth in less than 12 months. Can't we play someone else please?
Never fear, 'Arry will have left by mutual agreement (with a bit of compensation, naturally) by that time.
.........leaving Rosie behind as caretaker manager - completely down to bare bones by September.........
It's worse than that, even. He need Crouchie and a couple other expensive veterans just to get them back to bare bones. As it stands, there's scarcely a speck of marrow remaining.
If you fancy an early flutter, the current odd a t skybet are Bournemouth 4/5, Pompey 3/1 and a draw (@ 90 mins?)5/2
