Well, if anyone has taken up the link yet they'll know that the sound-sync on the 1st half is 5 seconds out and the video quality is a bit iffy. Better than a kick up the Arse though..! Here's hoping the 2nd half [separate video] is synced OK, but to be honest, just seeing all the performance again is prize enough.

That's a tough, tough draw. Winnable, but tough. Another team that'll have real ambitions to progress.

It could have been worse...wouldn't want City or Chelsea. Not being over confident as I'm sure Stoke feel the same (though they have the plus point of a home draw). Would have liked a lower league side and for a couple of bigger clubs to get each other. Sigh.

LEAGUE CUP FOURTH ROUND DRAW

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Stoke City vs Southampton
Bournemouth vs West Bromwich Albion
Shrewsbury Town vs Chelsea
Liverpool vs Swansea City
MK Dons vs Sheffield United
Manchester City vs Crystal Palace or Newcastle United
Fulham vs Derby County

Do I smell a rat in the kitchen with this draw? Funny how the four highlighted clubs have managed comfortable opponents??

The more I think about it, the more I hate that draw. I'm not sure it could have been any worse. At least Man City or Chelsea would have given us a shot at being the big story again, and they'll both probably field weakish teams. But Stoke away? A horrible tie, it'll be a really tough game but with no glamour or glory.

Oh contraire - Stoke are a solid team, nothing more or nothing less, if we play the first team, there is no reason why we will not progress - bar city and chelski we are the BEST left in the comp

Completely disagree - I think it is only city or Chelsea who could put us out

Same here. I think if we could wind time back we would beat Liverpool at Anfield now. They are looking shocking.

Are you quite sure you quoted the correct post when you answered..? I find it's reasonable to check that all has happened well and as expected. :)

Post#174 for anyone who can explain the connection to me.

Arsenal are better than us and we beat them, why can't Stoke who are around/a bit below our level beat us?

Cheers. How do you download the game ? I use Torch or should I use a different browser?

Well obviously you could watch it on the website, but if you're like me you may want to refer back to it once in a while, so yes I do download the files. My default browser is Mozilla Firefox and to protect me from any/all adverts and annoying trackers I use the Firefox plug-ins of Adblock Plus and Ghostery. Both are absolutely brilliant at what they do. Try that site without an ad blocker. Good luck trying to get to the video file..! The downloader is called Video Download Helper, and that's also a Firefox extension. It's not 100% perfect but it is so little trouble that I use it over others. It seems to be able to download almost any video, is highly configurable, so that ignores things I don't want, plus it can convert as it downloads, if I want. To download, start to play the video. This triggers VDH into recognising the one you want [a 3 sphere icon starts to revolve on the browser taskbar]. Right click on the icon and you'll be presented with menu. Near the bottom will be the option for downloading [you'll get the hang of it]. Once the download has started you can leave the website if you want to, or start the 2nd half if there are two files and begin to download that in the same way.

If you can get all those blocking features with the Torch browser then continue to use it. I tend to find that Firefox is still the best all-round browser out there. It's not the fastest, but it's still quick enough. It's highly configurable and safe, and it has simply oodles of plug-ins and extensions. Plus, it's straightforward, so there's no quirkiness to it and no surprises.
