    Is a mug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No ****ing Barton once again.

Barry, Downing, Gerrard, Lampard, Milner, Parker, Walcott, Wilshere, Young are the midfielders he chose. You can only argue that Wilshere, Walcott and maybe Parker have performed better than Barton.

Oh well, blessing in disguise I guess with our injury record.

Good. Don't want him in there, prevents another injury to our thin-bread squad.

Would've liked to have seen Simpson in there!

Thought it was based on form? Surely Barton is one of the most in form players in the country right now?

Guarantee you Parker and Barton in the central midfield would be the most combative pairing the world has ever seen

The bigger disgrace is him picking Fulham's number two ahead of Steve Harper. I bet he ****ing loves that Bent left Sunderland, now he never has to go that far north again. Italian ****.

A blessing in disguise but I don't think there's any argument that Joey is the best half back in the Country at the moment.

The guy's a fool. Get a freakin' englishman in who knows what he's doing and sticks to his word.

Barton, Simpson and Nolan all deserve call ups based on form.

However, i agree with some of your views, in that it's a blessing in disguise- not worth the risk!

Parker is a waste of space. Barton, Simpson and Harper should be there.

Not trying to rock the boat here for the sake of disagreeing but if any of you actually watch the matches you must be able to see hes never in the right position and hes almost constantly beaten by his man, hes being massively over rated people and for the life of me I cannot see why. He was very good in the second half today, but thats a rarity IMO.

Last season Simpson was a weak link for us. But this season he has been brilliant for most of his games. Yes he still has bad moments and isn't perfect. But for a relatively inexperienced 23 year old he is pretty good and can only get better.
