I see Fabio Capello is hunting down a job in the PL! There aren't that many vacancies about at the moment apart from ours and Roy Hodgson's old job! Is Roman going to be tempted? I for one hope not!

His club coaching record is very impressive.

7 Serie A wins with 3 different clubs
2 La Liga wins with Real Madrid
    CL win with Milan

Would it be his management style that would put you off?

RDM has played for the club and is passionate about us! His record in management of course cannot be compasred to Fabio's! I suspect Fabio is looking for one more lucrative contract before he hangs up his boots, wheras Robbie is driven by passion for the club--and that is more important to me!

Fair enough. I'd like to see RDM have a crack at the full time position too. As I mentioned in another thread, rivalries aside, always admired him as a footballer and comes across as a good sportsman and gent. Bit of a rarity these days. <ok>

bluemoon bet me top it, I mean capello and terry get on well for a start and with the press hatred of both the club and capello , nothing will change much pr wise lol

But I have a feeling in my aters that he might turn up at 3 point lane

Hopefully Roman has the fans' best interests at heart and we want Robbie!

Capello should stick with what he's good at, Italian football, and stay away from what he's poor at ,English football. It's a resounding 'NO ' from me.

I'm sure I posted on a thread before AVB got the job I thought Capello was top of the list and again on another thread when AVB got sacked. He is a real rock of a manager, the opposite of RDM. RDM got our 'rare orchids' working, Capello would be the sort to throw them into the bin and buy some hardy daffs, hydrangeas and the odd flowering cactus, which he has proven works.
