    To what looks like a right revolt down at Villa park ..

    Any chance of SSN turning up with their cameras and making all the brummie drunks and kids make the entire midlands look as thick as pig**** like they do with us?

    Particularly like the McLeish Not Welcome sign they've put out already ..

    Why would he hate the club?
    There's been many players through the years that have played for both Newcastle and Sunderland

    Given is a prime example.

    He'd hate us as we'd not play to him, but would expect him to play for the team. He's a selfish, arrogant sort of player.

    Not sure he'd demand such a high price if he were languishing in the Championship (which is what I was inferring), and why would he hate the club?

    Anyway .. this isn't about Bent (that was just a throw away comment) ..

    Always had a neutral view towards Villa until that fateful day on May 24 2009.

    The songs , the banners , the hatred was not at all necessary as there wasn't a real rivalry between us. So it was quite uncalled for.

    That's why the 6-0 game was one of the best days of my life! Revenge at its sweetest.

    40.88% say yes! In all honesty though he is a decent manager, but then again so am I! I manage our team on a Sunday and Tuesday night! Top of the league on a Tuesday and 3rd on the Sunday!!
