Hughes has to go with the hot players, not get locked into the same lineup every match. I think he is still sorting out what he has.
You have to ask why we wait until we are 3 nil down and only 25 mins left to play like we did. Why cant we start games like that FFS.
The simply fact is that the team was poor, is still poor and will struggle to avoid relegation. No amount of moaning or blaming tom, dick or harry will help improve the situation - but as supporters paying to watch matches everyone is entitled to have their say. After all that is said and done they are still in there with a fighting chance - i dont see any of the bottom five putting together a great run of results, so its likely to remain this way right down to the last few games.
The other bottom clubs didn't have the makeover that QPR did. When it clicks, and it will, we will be mid-Table by the end of the season (I hope...I hope).
The midfield was exposed as we feared and Rovers took their chances, we could've played Derry but would it have made any difference?...
No reason to have got rid Neil. But he's gone , it's history, and it's way to early to start criticising MH. We lost today because Kenny should have saved the first goal, our lack of defensive midfield left an open oasis for the second, and Onouha was too loose for the third. Also MH's throw of Adel up front didn't work, I thought that was a good idea as well, but it didn't work today. Mackie proved a lot of us wrong as well. Hall had a great game, best defender at least today.
I wished that I shared your optimism, NY, I really do. But mid-table? Surely you're having a giraffe with that prediction, ain't ya? Have you seen our run-in?
We were rubbish for a lot of today and need to improve. Having said that Mackie played well and should be up front in Cisse's abscence. The important thing is we get behind the team whoever is playing and chheer them on to some victories. I for one think it will be tight but still think we have enough to stay up
