Its the fourth time ive been to Bristol and i am still amazed to see plenty of folks carrying six packs to drink before the match on the streets next to Clarks Pies kiosk outside the ground. Its not even away from open view on the sly ! I wonder what the reaction might be if Walton Street became a drinking haunt pre-match. Isnt there a law about it? Or is there a different policy on policing in the West Country? Maybe better policing produces better crowd control after all? Apparently Apple and Pear Juice is a woman's drink and has no potency

having recently moved to London, It has taken me so long to get use to the fact that people just walk around the street with a can of lager jump on a train like it's no man's business and walk up to a pub and throw it in a bin before a night out. Socially this is totally acceptable.

I believe local by-laws that dictate if it's acceptable to drink on the street or not, so it depends on where you are.

In London, you're not allowed to eat or drink on the tube, but it doesn't seem to deter that many.
