Anyone staying up to watch this?

Can't wait for it, should be a cracking fight. Even though he's 33 still fancy GGG.

    NO!

I watched Mayweather fight the cage fighting twat and promised myself that it was the last time I'd waste sleep and money on watching a fight in 'merica.

Reckon the winner should beef up to light heavy weight to fight the not606 gimp champ.

Not a massive boxing fan but always enjoy watching GGG. ****ing killer. Don't think Canelo will like the brawl that GGG can bring. Let's face it though, Canelo's been ducking him for a while and is likely hoping that the now 33 year old GGG won't be as good.

Not sure if I'm gonna watch that though to be honest. Luke Rockhold makes his UFC return tonight, quality fighter on his day and for me the best middleweight out there (as much as I love the fact Bisping is champ, if Rockhold took him seriously like the first time they fought, he'd have easily finished Bisping... Again), the fight card is similar timing to the GGG fight.

    See I prefer boxing myself.

Don't get me wrong ufc is ****ing brutal and more like street fighting so kinda entertaining in that way, but think boxing is more about technical ability so I can appreciate the skill more as a sport personally.

Watching BJS at the moment, underrated boxer.

Golovkin round 8 for me. The farce of a "fight", which was like two bums suffering from ME resting against each other in a car park, has taken the shine off this one, let's hope it's a good fight!

Torn as to whether I should stay up for this, been out in the local and this could mean playing poker to while away the hours....mmmmm.

Fancy GGG to KO him between 7-10

I said at the time that fight was a farce and it was a joke that the media were billing it as the sporting event of the year... Not even the biggest boxing fight of the year <doh>

Said around the time that I was looking forward to this one much more <ok>

Agree with your prediction fwiw Tobes.

I'd say this one is worth staying up for for any true boxing fan tbh. Could be a classic.

Edit- it's refreshing to see a big fight that the public want actually happen imo. Politics around fights is one thing I dislike about boxing.

Think all actual boxing fans ignored facebook and had this date pencilled in like.

    Literally any result is imaginable!

I'm going to bed now and setting an alarm. Hoping my natural reaction of bashing the crap out of the snooze button to prolong thinking about getting ready for work doesn't kick in...

I've got a wedge on Saunders winning this within the distance btw

Hoping the cut is going to make him think he needs to end it

    Yeah I know I'm a right **** ain't I? ;)

Pretty confident you won't regret it though, though judging by that you'll be ****ing suffering tomorrow!

I'll probably be alright tbh, due to last weeks madness (and finances due to that!) I've been pretty sensible today... drove to Palace earlier so didn't start drinking until about 7.

Not back at work until a night shift Monday night either so happy days <ok>
