I'm officially moving out my flat next week and been phoning companies to cancel the contracts today. Phoned virgin media and told them, then they cut me off. The stupid ****s then realised I owe them money and phoned me back Told them I would only pay them if they cancelled the contract immediately and they did Then Scottish Power were asking me to switch my brothers supply to them and keep the name in my account. **** that, I'm no paying his gas and leccy bills on top of the sky that I pay for and rent to the **** Next up, tv license..............
If you're going to another flat, you can just transfer your T.V. licence. I think you can even do it online. Do people still wrap tin foil around their T.V. hoping the detector van will overlook them when they don't pay up?
My brother already has a license, no need to transfer it. I don't know, but would be willing to give it a shot
Or the old black and white licence trick. Not even sure you can buy a black and white telly now. Probably get some self righteous do gooder's humf up if they were.
