So tomorrow sees us taking on the Rams – can CJ replicate what SJ did 6½ years ago - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...y-left-it-late-against-derby-county-1-5252942??? IMO, it would be fantastic just to grab all 3 points, however we do it, as we have another tough test coming up on Tuesday!!! So, it will be 'Old Boys reunited with BJ and CM in the Rams team.
It should be a good game and I'm looking forward to it and looking forward to my 'borrowed' seat in the Lower Barclay!!

    Sky Preview - "
Nelson Oliveira remains a doubt for Norwich's Championship clash with Derby at Carrow Road. The Canaries' Portuguese top-scorer played the full 120 minutes in Tuesday's 2-1 Carabao Cup loss at Arsenal, but continues to work back to full fitness after groin trouble. Christoph Zimmermann should feature for the home side having started against the Gunners. The 24-year-old managed to shake off an injury scare in the 1-0 win at Ipswich and should now be free to continue in the Norwich defence.

Johnny Russell is an injury doubt for Derby after suffering a groin strain in training this week and the forward will be assessed. Curtis Davies has been nursing a shoulder injury following the home win against Sheffield Wednesday but the defender is expected to be fit. Rams boss Gary Rowett has the likes of Bradley Johnson, Chris Martin, Andreas Weimann and on-loan striker Sam Winnall, who was ineligible against his parent club last weekend, vying for recalls. Strikers Darren Bent (hamstring) and Mason Bennett (knee) remain sidelined but are making good progress in their recoveries."

From today's presser - JM has been passed fit for tomorrow :emoticon-0141-whew:, but Basil will only be on the bench, as he still has some issues. Watkins is back in contention having served his 3 match ban.

About time we had a comfortable home win.
3 points would be a massive result.

Still not convinced by Watkins as back up to Jerome and Oliveira.
Inevitable one or both would be injured or unavailable over the season but slim pickins if / when that happens <yikes>

As 3rd choice he's OK, Maddison will get the goals anyway!

    Bah!

    I'd happily take a 1-0 home win today <ok>
Even better if Madders could replicate this.

Bench: McGovern (GK), Husband, Vrancic, Oliveira, Watkins, Wildschut, Hanley.

Nothing too surprising, given Oliveira wasn't deemed fit enough to start. I expected a rest for one of our CBs, give the packed schedule, but if the players are in good enough shape then continuity is good.

But only because our most prolific striker and goal threat is still not 100% fit.

1-0 down on the stroke of half time, sounds like an utter sucker-punch after creating far more chances first half.

F**k me. That was like pulling teeth. So, so slow. Predictable. No passion, no hassling. No cutting edge.Gunn and Zimmerman must have had 80% of the passing. Back down to earth with a bang. The ref was unbelievably shocking.
