Norwich City's Grant Holt and Henri Lansbury have been shortlisted for the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year respectlvely in the Championship.

Holt is up against Scot Sinclair (Swansea) and Taarabt (QPR) for the Player of the Year award in the Championship

Lansbury faces competition from Will Buckley (Watford) and Connor Wickham(Ips***) for the young player of the year award in the championship

I fear Taarabt may beat Holt to it. And Wickham will get it just so Ipswich get some form of consolation.

If Taarabt beats Holt to it then I will be sour. Football is a team game and that is all that needs to be said. As for Lansbury, I really don't want to take anything away from him, but I am quite surprised, he hasn't been with us the whole season and he he was injured for 3 games as well I think. Fair play to the guy to make the shortlist at all! He is pure footballing stock though, and it looks like he will be a really quality player. I think Arsenal will want to keep him for sure.

IF we win against Hull and he scores a few, he will win it. Unless they already voted?

Funny how there aren't any defenders in there or goalkeepers... unless Buckley is one, anyway.

Well my prediction seems to have been spot on! If only I could do that in the prediction league...

Taraabt wins player of the year, and Wickham gets Young player of the year, more details here.
