Well it looks like the bidding war is about to kick off for our wonder kid CWICK. Liverpool have just had a bid of £8 Million rejected by Marcus Evans. Personally I think this is just a stalling tactic because no one at the club actually knows where CWick is! Latest reports however indicate that he is holed up in some grotty cellar chained to a wall and being lusted over by some maniac crazed Norwich fan! If you are reading this board CS please just hand him over!
Has he genuinely turned down 8 million? Really honestly turned down an EIGHT MILLION pound bid for someone who scored fewer than ten goals in the championship? You couldn't make it up.
Like I say CS we can't keep Liverpool waiting! At least send a ransome note to Marcus Evans and perhaps that way you might get a small cut of the total fee. Let me guess your waiting for the £15 Million get out clause in CWicks contract so that you can pocket even more!
In the best interests of keeping things nice and parochial, I think Marcus Evans should let Norwich have him for £5m. Injuries accepted, but he's not really pulled up too many trees for England youth or his present Championship team, so quite where top flight bids of £8m plus come from astound me.

Liverpool had a hard bid of £8 Million rejected yesterday and I reckon that Evans is holding out for at least £11 Million plus add ons. Its about time Town fullfilled the full transfer value of our players rather than just giving them away on peanuts. Darren Bent for £1.5Million prime example!
To be fair, Johnny, he's had a very good season, I had my doubts about him but I've had to revise my opinion of him. As for that miss - I've seen worse, but not very often
Dave He's that kind of player that can score some sensational goals like the 2 he got against Arsenal and then he can go and miss an absolute sitter like he did last night!
8million would be the biggest steal of the century Wickham is rubbish, I'm sorry but he's just no good, more money than sense.
More fool the club that buys him for that ridiculous money They should watch the 5-1 DVD (which is available through our club shop) to see what he's all about. I would use the term "easily containable" His youth does not justify such a price tag but if you can get that type of cash then more power to you. Question is, is Evans ever going to actually use that cash and replenish your shattered squad.
We will be signing Chopra from Cardiff early next week for about 1.2 Million. This signing I hope will be the catalyst for a number of quality signings that we desperately need. I reckon that Spurs will come in for Wickham at the 11th hour as Evans is great mates with Harry Redknapp. 11 Million plus add ons plus a loan of Gio Dos Santos!
