According to the BBC Brady was man of the match in the Ireland game and they followed it up with Signed for £7m by Norwich in the summer, Brady showcased his skills as a winger, proving a tricky opponent all evening. He whipped numerous balls into dangerous positions and if he can provide that kind of service at club level, the Canaries' strikers will be licking their lips. That should of course be striker singular not plural - will we ever play with two strikers again? Wistful for the days of Deehan and Bertschin
Great to hear that Ox, as I didn't see the match. I suppose it should be plural, as it depends on which striker is playing at the time and more than one could be playing if we're chasing a result. It was also great that Olsson played the whole game for Sweden and Lafferty scored for NI.
I'm surprised (pleasantly so) about Olsson playing so much football during this international break. Good stuff.
Surley Lafferty need a run out. Bring him on last 20 and see what he does as a striker?! He can't do much more than prove he can score in Euro qualifiers. I'd like to see him get a chance.
